This bike is really an adventurous bike which eventually can be used for both city riding and off roading sake.This Himalayan is Royal Enfield's only off-road focused motorcycle that is now BS6- compliant.
This Himalayan Bike generates 24.3 bhp of power and 32 nm of torque from its 411 cc engine.It comes with a single cylinder engine with 6 speed manual gearbox.The top variant in this bikes has also comes with anti-locking braking system. This bike weighs around 199kg.
It also gets new features like a switchable ABS which turns off the ABS to the rear wheel and a hazard light switch. Royal Enfield has also equipped the motorcycle with a revised side stand.In terms of cycle parts, the himalayan retains the 21- inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel shod with dual-sport rubber.
When it comes to the braking its done by a 300mm disc upfront and a 220mm disc at the rear with ABS as standard. Aslo when it comes to the suspension were carried out by 41mm telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.
Apart from that Royal Enfield offering a 3-year warranty with the new Himalayan .This himalayan beast would be a perfect one for touring sake.This bike alsocompetes against the BMW G310 GS and the KTM 390 Adventure.
